IT'S A GIRL!!

We are proud to announce we are now parents...well, puppy parents anyway. Last Friday we adopted our little bundle of joy from the animal hospital down the road from us. We went to look at a different dog a few days before and it was already adopted so when a similar one came in they called us. It was pretty much love at first sight.

I mean, how can you resist this?

This video was taken at the animal hospital but we claimed her before they could even post it! (That is not my voice, by the way)

They rescued her from a shelter where her other owners turned her in because of a bad flea problem. Apparently they couldn't afford to take care of it so they just shaved her and she had a really bad skin reaction that she is still recovering from. They think she is a bout a year old and she is eight whole pounds of spunk!

We named her Brizzie after Brisbane, Australia...the capital of the area we went to on our honeymoon. Nothing else seemed to fit her quite right and every other name was way overused.

She is the perfect match for us and I couldn't be happier!
